Dads have a funny habit of hiding their own favourites just to see the family smile.

They are the kings of "I don't mind" and "Whatever the kids want." The ones who quietly choose second, take the smaller piece, and put everyone else's happiness before their own.

For some of us, Dad is our superhero. For others, Mum has played both roles and carried the responsibilities of a father too. Regardless of who filled those shoes, Father's Day is a reminder to celebrate the people who have loved us through sacrifice, guidance, and unwavering support.

As we grow older, we begin to understand the countless things they did behind the scenes — the worries they kept to themselves, the opportunities they created for us, and the love they showed through actions rather than words.
